Openings for Easy Installation: The Uninsulated Tstud™ has openings between the truss system allow for easy passage of electrical. For insulated versions, a screwdriver can be used to poke through the spray foam, simplifying electrical installation. For the panels, pre-drilled openings are created for electrical. Pre-engineered headers for windows and doors in the panels minimize adjustments and allow for faster on-site assembly.

Streamlined Airtightness: Achieving zero ACH (air changes per hour) through panels is as simple as taping panel joints and sealing openings, meeting air-tightness requirements efficiently.

Panel Customization Options: Options for stud sizing (2x6, 2x8, 2x10, 2x12, etc.), spacing (16” or 24” on center), sheathing, and spray foam depth provide flexibility to meet different project needs. Liquid applied water resistive barrier is also an option.

Thermal Studs’ manufacturing process is designed for cost-effectiveness and quick setup. Licensees benefit from:

Two Manufacturing Models: Licensees can choose to produce individual products (higher CapEx but high returns) or the ultimate panel system which creates Thermal Studs within the panels and a double thermal break with Tstud™ technology (lower CapEx, can be operational within 60 days) or a licensee can purchase both licenses.

Direct Material Sourcing: Licensees can purchase commodities at wholesale rates directly, bypassing distributor and lumberyard markups.

Efficient Manufacturing Setup: The fully loaded Ultimate WarmStud™ Panel and the Ultimate RhinoStud™ Panel is a straightforward assembly, with an estimated cost of goods of $X.37 per square foot, which includes framing materials, labor, spray foam insulation, sheathing, pre-drilled electrical holes, applied water-resistant barriers, royalty, panel engineering, and the DrainStrip™ Ventilation and RainScreen System.
