The R19 Tstud™ is a cleverly designed building material that combines two pieces of lumber, an internal truss system, and foam insulation. This single product addresses five major construction concerns for 2x6 framing: it improves thermal breaks, enhances structural strength, reduces sound transmission, and meets hurricane and seismic compliance standards—all in one go.

    Certified to crush LSL or LVL bottom plate at 5600#

  3. All wind load tables are in the ICC Report, but most can be used up to 24” on center in wind loads 1-5 and the taller walls typically up to 16” on center.

  4. The R19 Tstud™ will ultimately offer a sound transmission rating as well but is untested at this time.

  5. The adhesive used in making the R19 Tstud™ pass all applicable heat, fire, and moisture testing for the products to be used in the stated structural scenarios within the TER’s.
